The New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks consummated a six-player deal yesterday involving Tyson Chandler going to New York and Jose Calderon going to the Dallas Mavericks. In response to the news, we spoke to Chris Herring of the Wall Street Journal about the deal. The conversation includes the affect of the trade on the Knicks as well as how it will affect Carmelo Anthony’s free agency decision. There’s also conversation about the Omer Asik deal between New Orleans and Houston.
